APOs have many advantages over IPOs.

Alternative Public Offerings (APO) have many advantages for investors compared to the more popular Initial Public Offering (IPO). In an APO, investors are usually able to purchase stock at a discount to market, the timeline for becoming public is quicker, the costs are lower for the Chinese company doing the APO, and risk of not completing the public offering is significantly reduced.

PIPEs PROVIDE CAPITAL TO APOs

Private Investment into a Public Entity (PIPE) is a term used for the capital injected by investment banks and investors into a company during the APO process, much in the same way as an IPO, by the issuance of stock by the company to these investors.
